DETAILS
British Bulldog artefacts were made in Victorian England as symbols of the resolute dogged British spirit which helped to transform England from a country at the fringes of Europe in the 17th century to a world superpower by the mid 19th century. They were made in either boxwood or fruitwood and partially stained in black, with glass eyes, the facial features realistically carved.
